Found by Love offers a gripping look at what Luke and Ariana were up to behind the scenes. It was fascinating to see their connection unfold while the chaos of the other couples' stories played out in the background. If you’ve been following the series, getting this "missing pieces" perspective on their relationship is a must-read
Bound by Duty is a great example of slow-burn, second-wife trope. Watching Valentina’s strength grow as she navigated her new life was incredibly satisfying. I also especially enjoyed her beautiful bond with Bibi and the steps she took to help her friend.
While Dante was a hard nut to crack, seeing those first gaps in his armor felt like a hard-won victory. My only gripe? I wanted him to break just a little bit more for her by the end! If you love a heroine who wins through quiet persistence and a hero who makes you work for every emotion, this is a must-read.
Watching Gianna’s growth from enduring her parents' mistreatment to finally trusting a partner who truly recognized her spirit was what really made this story for me. This paired perfectly with Mateo’s transformation as his obsession shifted from a power play into a deep, genuine love.
Tropes: Enemies to Lovers • Forced Proximity • He Falls Harder • Arranged Marriage • Protective Hero
I love this book. I have just re-read for the 3rd or 4th time. I love that the meeting was so random. I love that Payton was plus sized. The feelings of representation were real. I loved that she continued to put her self out there cause her heart tells her too. Even though she's afraid she still tries which makes her so brave. I love that he's stalking her. I love the coffee scene with King. I love that he wants to take care of her cause let's be honest who doesn't want that. Read this book you won't regret it.
This is not my favourite out of the series. I enjoyed Savannah and got her. I liked the introduction of Val I just didn't love King. I appreciate the character and loved some of the actions but just couldn't find it in myself to love him as much as the others. I almost forgot to mention I loved Duke too
What's not to love about Hans. Him forcing crappy food down probably tells us all we need to know. Read this book if you're having doubts about it ignore them and just read it.
Cass is awesome. A sharpshooting heroine in her own way.
They were made for each other and it is just lovely.
Also Nero and Hans who doesn't love a bff storyline
There is nothing quite like an emotionally unavailable man who finally finds the one person worth tearing down his walls for. Watching Nino go from cold and calculated to completely devoted—but only for her ( and his brothers)—is exactly why I live for this trope. It makes every small gesture feel like a massive victory.
Why I loved it:
The "Touch Her and You Die" energy.
The slow, intentional build of trust.
That rare, "only for her" vulnerability.
I love this book. I think Dom might be one of my fav MMC. Yeah he does shitty things some huge things but he loves huge too. Val was surviving cause she is a survivor and a strong one too and he just showed her how strong she was. The stuff she put up with but she still kept trucking along shows her power. This book shows strong women don't need to be the loudest in the room or have the ability to take down enemies. Valentine is a strong woman.
Antonio is the perfect "stone-cold to everyone but her" lead. I loved how he stayed tough with the world while being completely soft and protective for Tori, perfectly nailing the "only soft for her" trope. The friendship that develops between Tori, Tiny, and Big Ricky adds so much heart to the story.
This is an arranged marriage mafia tale It involves a MMC with hearing difficulties and a FMC who pretends she's colourful so the world can't see her hurt.
I loved this book it's one of my favourites in the series. He falls hard for her. He sees who she is for real, a scared of being hurt, full of emotional trauma young woman who believes if she pretends nothing bothers her nothing will. He is dealing with his own traumas and allows her to bring colour into his darkness. They are perfectly matched for each other which makes the story so great. This book brought all the feelings. I was amused and entertained. I was crying at some parts while laughing out loud in others.
If you love the grumpy X sunshine then this is the book for you.
If you think you know mafia romance, Ruined Secrets by Neva Altaj is here to completely flip the script.
This book has all the delicious, dark drama we crave—arranged marriage, lethal power struggles, and betrayals—but with a massive twist. When amnesia hits, the typical dynamic shatters. Suddenly, the power is entirely in her hands. ⚔️❤️🔥
Watching a fierce heroine step up to protect him, save him, and fight like hell to keep him on top is the refreshing change of pace this genre needed. Beyond the bullets and betrayal, it’s a superb reminder of what happens when you decide on your dreams, fiercely follow them, and watch them come true.

Burnt Dreams is a well-written and engaging mafia romance that combines a fantastic bodyguard dynamic with a compelling love story. The plot is interesting, keeps you hooked from start to finish, and does a great job of connecting familiar characters we’ve been eager to see more of. The fact that he gives up his revenge plans and everything else for her just proves how much he really does love her and that she is his true love.
However, it does feature a cheating element. Even though the heroine's husband is a complete asshole, cheating is just something I don't particularly like to read about.
If you can look past that specific trope, it is generally a highly entertaining and solid read!
I completely fell in love with Broken Whispers! If you adore the arranged marriage trope and a deeply protective, scarred hero, this one is an absolute must-read.
I loved seeing the heroine come from a crappy family and finally get the life she deserved. She didn't judge him by his scars; instead, she fell for his soul, his attitude, and the way he treated her, embracing every broken piece of him. Watching a man who couldn't stand to be touched completely transform for her was so incredibly romantic.
Plus, it features the ultimate "burn the world for her" vibe and a single dad storyline that completely flipped the switch for me (and I usually don't even like single dad books!). It is sweet, intense, and emotional all at once
He will literally burn down the world for her, and he has the unhinged energy IN SPADES. 🔥🔪
If you love a dark mafia romance where the MMC is completely obsessed and the FMC is innocent but resilient, Hidden Truths by Neva Altaj is your next 5-star read!
Angelina completely accepts Sergei for exactly who he is, and she is just his person through and through. It’s entertaining from start to finish, cute, funny, and never cringey.
This book has everything you need from a dark romance book. It has a stalker, it has an obsessed MMC, it has lessons being taught and self sacrificing for the one you love. Milene is a great FMC. She is a bunch of juxtapositions rolled into one. She is soft but strong. She's independent but loves the codependence she shares with Tore. She's a healer with a deadly streak when it comes to the ones she loves.
The story is fabulous and the bonus scenes are so entertaining.
If you love a stalker with an arranged marriage trope then this is for you.
I went into this expecting a high-heat, protective mafia romance, but it ended up feeling more like a lukewarm second-chance story. The 'found family' and 'secret son' tropes had potential, but the MMC and his brothers should have done more to stand up to their father when he disrespected the FMC.
I also didn't love some of the interactions between the main characters and their child. I just thought some of the things they said or did were not cool, which made it harder to connect with them as parents.
It just didn't hit the mark for me but I am still going to try the next book in the series.
