This just broke my heart.

Really liked this one.

I totally enjoyed reading about how the first confessor came about. The Sword of Truth series is one of my favorite stories, so to see this glimpse onto the backstory is a real treat. I hope Terry Goodkind is planning more adventures into this world.

Frustrating. Eve kept pissing me off and Gideon too. But I still loved the story...

I have to say that reading this...pissed me off. Over all the twist was great, but the whole we cant be together got old. Then when they finally hook up, the twist happens and fusses everything up.
I may or may not read the next book.

Ok I liked this book, and I would have likely loved it if there had been a bit more substance/build up to the relationship between Riley and Eli. I just feel so much more could have been added to make this book rock.

I really wanted to love this book, but I just couldn't. Janet is one of my favorite authors, so I'll read the next one and hope it's as good as the first one!

When I originally read this, I gave it two stars. I just finished a re-read of it, (getting ready to read #13) and I'm not sure why I didn't like it so well before.
I'm almost sad to read the next one.
