Lovely hockey romance!

Axel and Langley are super sweet. A marriage of convenience meets sports romance, this was amazing! The right amount of heat, the right amount of sweetness. I loved how Axel became the perfect partner by lifting Langley up, and showing her it was okay to have love and a career. Definitely a great start to the series!

Langley is protective of her heart. She doesn't want to choose between work and a relationship. She is choosing herself, and the consistency that is her job. If a man loves her, he shouldn't make her choose between the two.

Axel is a very honest man. He knows what he wants and will do whatever it takes to get it. And he wants Langley. Unlikely in love, they are friends first but when push comes to shove then end up in a marriage agreement, but with a deadline.

The two grow to care for one another, but Langley is hesitant and protective of her heart.

I always love when people use their first language to talk to their partner without their knowledge. How he tells her he loves her in Swedish but she doesn't know what he means.
