Bite

I was sold on this when it was described as MadMax-ian. Well played,as I have been chasing the high of Fury Road for a year. This fits the bill. Bite was actually waaaaay better than expected. First, the whole cannibal thing is only one very small part of the story and it's fitting and needs to be there. Mostly, it's a survival of the craziest story with townies and raiders and aged Queens holding court in the middle of a radioactive desert. It helped that I really liked Kid and Dolly. Seriously? Dolly is kick ass. Is it perfect? Hell no. Is it perfect for a summer read, hell YES. I look forward to more from Ms. Merbeth.
