this book was a fucking Hail Mary, I could feel myself going into a reading slump and out of my extensive mental tbr, I picked this book and god I am glad I did. This was oh so forbidden, mafia, age gap, and so much more. I adored our main characters, there is a special place in my heart for Kristian. We love an overprotective possessive man but his sweet moments were unmatched. You can tell he has always devoted his life to making Zenya happiness she could ever be. This man would give her his spleen if she asked for it. This book was HOT I mean from the praise to breeding, you couldn't go wrong. I MEAN THE TENSION, it was so perfect. Seeing the flashbacks has me clutching my damn pearls. I didn't expect to feel so connected to their characters, I shed a fucking tear at work reading their happiness toward the end. This book has made itself one of my favorite books of the year so far.
