Jen Dixon is not your typical Kansas City kindergarten class mom-or mom in general. Jen already has two college-age daughters by two different (probably) musicians, and it's her second time around the class mom block with five-year-old Max, this time with a husband and father by her side. Though her best friend and PTA President sees her as the "wisest" candidate for the job (or oldest), not all of the other parents agree. From recording parents' response times to her emails about helping in the classroom, to requesting contributions of "special" brownies for curriculum night, not all of Jen's methods win approval from the other moms. Throw in an old flame from Jen's past, a hyper-sensitive "allergy mom," a surprisingly sexy kindergarten teacher, and an impossible-to-please Real Housewife-wannabe, causing problems at every turn, and the job really becomes much more than she signed up for.--Provided by Publisher.

This book was a quick read and anyone who has ever been a class parent, or a scout leader, or a member of the PTA will surely enjoy it!
You know how books tend to find you right when you need them? Well, for me, this is that book.
I haven't laughed like this since reading Dial A For Aunties and man did I need this! I actually read this in one sitting and can't wait to start the next one in this series. This author has me hooked LOL
The best part about this one, aside from Jen and her humor, is how relatable she is. I got where she is coming from. Motherhood. Getting older. Feeling more and more like you don't matter anymore. Whew! It's a lot to unpack and it's done in such a fun, realistic and light-hearted way with of course a little drama and lots of gossip
Damn funny book! I've already got the next in the series teed up.
I read this to use it as a comparison for my WIP, and it is just so well done it made me excited to revise and revisit my own manuscript.
Her voice will draw you in. I wanted to be friends with her!
