At age twenty-one, Auburn Reed has already lost everything important to her. In her fight to rebuild her shattered life, she has her goals in sight and there is no room for mistakes. But when she walks into a Dallas art studio in search of a job, she doesn't expect to find a deep attraction to the enigmatic artist who works there, Owen Gentry. For once, Auburn takes a chance and puts her heart in control, only to discover that Owen is keeping a major secret from coming out. The magnitude of his past threatens to destroy everything important to Auburn, and the only way to get her life back on track is to cut Owen out of it. To save their relationship, all Owen needs to do is confess. But in this case, the confession could be much more destructive than the actual sin.

3 stars coz I enjoyed reading the confessions and the artwork. As for the plot, still trying to figure out what happened.
If I could give this book all of the stars in the world I most definitely would. This just might be my favorite Colleen Hoover book I've read so far. I connected with both main characters in so many ways it shocked me. It was an absolute joy to read this book. I couldn't put it down and the way I just.. connected with some of the story made me feel heard. And I absolutely love that. No doubt that this won't be a favorite because it definitely is. I loved this story and I love the characters (not all of them
Confess is everything you would expect to read in a Colleen Hoover novel. It starts off with one of the most depressing prologues I've ever read. The story that follows is equal parts sadness, frustration, sweet moments, and the feeling of wanting to toss your book at the wall. I have yet to be disappointed with a CoHo book, I highly recommend this!
April 11, 2017 Update: Ummm so this is a TV show with like all the episodes out and I don't even know how that slipped under my radar.
Wow. Two Colleen Hoover books in one day. I'm all out now, but you know I would try to make it three if I had a copy of Maybe Someday..
Anyways, review to come sometime tomorrow.
