I love Corduroy. This is one that I really do remember from my childhood. I remember the photos and I remember the story. I love this book so much! And it portrays people of colors as main characters! It is the story of a teddy bear who longs to be chosen by a kid and finally have his forever home. From beginning to end, it is such a sweet story, well narrated and well illustrated.
