Crossfire

This one was a really intense thriller from page one, when criminals stage an escape right from a courtroom and a hostage situation unfolds soon after. But once the initial crime is under control, why is a stalker still on the loose? Is it connected?

I loved the characters in the story and the way it explores sibling relationships. It also had a neat angle on exploring some issues with troubled teens, with the hero's job as a school resource officer.

I had a hard time guessing the bad guy on this one and I really liked the unusual twists. One of Eason's most inventive story plots.
