Edgewood

The cover is gorgeous.  The basic premise is a fresh idea.  The story sucked me in right from the start.  The relationship between Emeline and her grandfather seemed genuine.  There was a plot hole near the beginning of the book that was never explained.  The Wood King's domain seemed muted and ordinary.   This ARC was sent to me by Netgalley.

I struggled with this a bit in the beginning but the pace picked me up and it moved right along. The issues I had with the beginning were resolved once I got swept into the story and things were explained. I enjoyed this and can't decide if I wish there was another to make this a series!
