There are plausible coincidences, and there are improbable coincidences, and there are ridiculously plotted coincidences. Most of the evidence in this book hinges on discoveries from the third group of coincidences, and a whole lot of jumping to conclusions.

However, much of the supernatural mythological element of this mystery redeems (and even explains, somewhat) this penchant for making it far too easy for our investigators to gather information.
