Whew, was this one a wild ride! I wasn't able to put it down as Ella shows up to clean out her dead cousin's apartment and finds a clue that perhaps the drug overdose wasn't an accidental suicide, after all. Before she knows it, she's been kidnapped and she isn't sure that rough-around-the-edges Sam, who rescues her, can be trusted.
I enjoyed the characters and the suspense but at the end it wasn't quite as tight a plot as it started out to be, and Ella makes some extremely risky moves. However, the ending was satisfying and of course it all worked out all right.
