Wonderfully written, a glimpse into faith, self-reliance and friendship, witty and thought provoking. Barnstorming pilot meets a messianic man who has misgivings about his purpose. His scripture is captured in a greasy spiral bound notebook and he changes the lives of all he meets.

I liked the way this was constructed. It's not my typical type of book but it's nice to get out of my comfort zone every once in a while.
Un livre coup de poing, une réflexion importante sur la vie, son sens et notre place en ce monde. Un court éclat de vérité qui bouleverse et pousse à remettre tout en question, un de ces rares livres qui devrait se trouver sur toutes les étagères...
Constantly re-read this book in high school. I still remember many of the excerpts from the Messiah's Handbook. “You are never given a wish without also being given the power to make it come true. You may have to work for it, however.” “There is no such thing as a problem without a gift for you in its hands. You seek problems because you need their gifts.” And many more.
