Kate returns from a post-break-up holiday with her girlfriends to news of a serial killer in her home town - and his victims all look like her. It could, of course, be a simple coincidence. Or maybe not. She becomes convinced she is being watched; followed, even. Is she next? And could her mild-mannered ex-boyfriend really be a deranged murderer? Or is the truth something far more sinister?

I read through this pretty quickly. It wasn't bad per say, but the whole thing was highly predictable and I don't believe it will leave a lasting impression in my mind. For a 400 page book I feel kind of like not much happened. The first 3/4ths of the book was pretty much just Kate living her normal life. Overall I think this one will be fairly forgettable for me.
Update:
Came back and lowered this because none of this story stuck with me. Found myself reading the synopsis to figure out what this book on my read shelf was.
This book kept be interested until the end. Overall a good serial killer mystery/ thriller. This book does touch upon some sensitive subjects such as rape, emotional and physical abuse. The protagonist made some stupid and immoral decisions and the writer slipped in her political leanings near the end...which was slightly annoying. Overall a decent read.
