This book was darker than I expected. I won't go in to detail on that, but pretty much name a problem and one of the characters in this book has that problem. This book gives warnings about eating disorders, sexual abuse, and ptsd, and that is only some of the problems that characters in this book deal with. This book does a really good job creating realistic characters. No one in this book has a perfect life, and that makes the characters seem so much more real compared to a lot of other books. I loved the way the author wrote these characters. They were all so realistic and relatable.
