A heavy read, as is usual for David Mitchell, and well worth reading, as is also usual. Bone Clocks starts innocent, a coming-of-age tale set in the England of 1980s, but soon becomes something else, as Holly Sykes, our protagonist, runs into some really unexpected events.
Bone Clocks is a delightful book, full of wonders. It's also full of many other things, making it such a heavy book to read. The Finnish publisher has used a way too dense line-height to make the book shorter, yet it's still 650 pages.
But yeah, I'm definitely going to read whatever Mitchell does next.
