I love this book. No, you don't understand. I really love this book. This reminds me of the interactivity of that old Grover book, the one “There is a Monster at the End of this Book” or something like that. Each page brings interaction with your child and reader's audience. I love it! The poetry is so much fun and attractive to the ear. I like this one so much, I'm giving a copy to my brother in law for Christmas. (Yes that's right, to the adult, not the kiddos). It's just appropriate. I definitely recommend this for a keeper shelf for every child.

An author is quite busy writing a book when, out of nowhere, his audience petitions him, “More Bears!” He reluctantly complies, adding more and more bears to assuage his audience. Soon the page is filled with bears and the author must ask all the bears to leave.
This book, like many contemporary picture books, has an interactive quality that adds to the appeal of the book. Delightful and fun.
“The author tried very, very hard to ignore the children who thought that the story ought to have...
MORE BEARS!
Fine. This story had a bear. It was a cute little baby bear strolling through the book looking for...
MORE BEARS!”
