I really like Grant Morrison but this book is mind-f*cked, the artwork is good and the gore in this book is similar to Crossed series.
But the plot is all over the place and I have no idea what's going on, lol.

Rarely do I encounter something that I can't interpret at all. This is one of those rare times. It's completely non-linear, strange, esoteric, difficult. And whilst I enjoy all of those things, in the end, I was completely baffled. So I'm not quite sure how to review this. Honestly, without a background in esoterica/the occult, Polynesian and Mayan cosmology, and the history of magick, this will be a difficult read. I'm mildly acquainted with some of the above, but even I was at a loss. I enjoy reading the obscure, though, so I wasn't totally bored. And I liked the grue and Lovecraftian bits. This also brings to mind ‘Event Horizon,' which maybe isn't that good, but I have a soft spot for it.
What helps make sense of this is the afterward. You have to read the afterward. And I appreciate what Morrison says is the meaning of this work, but I find this graphic novel too obscure to support his feminist statement.
