As a player in NERVE, an anonymous game of dares broadcast live online, high-schooler Vee is unhappy to be watched constantly but finds it exhilarating to be paired with handsome Ian taking ever riskier dares--until the stakes become too high.

It started off great, I ignored the atrocious instalove and enjoyed the story until the finale challenge part of the story.
The ending completely sucked.
PARENTAL WARNING COMING. I know I'm probably being a curmudgeon, but I wish parents would let their children read more, and then talk about what they are reading. I fell for the Hunger Games/Real Life RPG genre, and it is an entertaining read. BUT, there is some material that parents would want to know about. Don't ban a book, read it and talk about it.
ARE YOU PLAYING THE GAME OR IS THE GAME PLAYING YOU?Vee doesn't know if she has the guts to play NERVE, an anonymous online game of dares. But whoever's behind the game knows exactly what she wants, enticing her with lustworthy prizes and a sizzling-hot partner. With Ian on her team, it's easy to agree to another dare. And another. And another. At first it's thrilling as the Watchers cheer them on to more dangerous challenges. But suddenly the game turns deadly. Will Vee and Ian risk their lives for the Grand Prize dare, or will they lose NERVE?
Nerve is a book that gets you on the edge of your seat. It is thrilling, it is funny, it has cute guys and it has a plottwist. What more could you want?
The dares get more daring while you read on. It started of as a joke and ended with a life threatening dare.
I really enjoyed reading this book. The characters were loveable and I could totally see Vee and Ian together.
Four lovely stars for this book
