I loved “Birthmarked” so much and I think I might love “Prized” even more. Gaia is a lovely character. Sylum was a very interesting community and I hated the Matrarc with my all my heart. I was actually happy when she finally died, because I really disliked her. That's a good sign though, because the book has to be quite good for me to develop such strong feelings towards a character. The love square was a bit too much though. Leon is not my favourite, I prefered Will.
