Everly has been obsessed with her brother's friend since she was a child and she plans on having a future with him. She meets his older brother and doesn't feel any sparks fly, at first, but this new interest may be the Right One.

Everly is obsessed with her brother's best friend, Finn, he is it for her. She has a plan, and nothing is going to change that. Until one day she meets her match in Sawyer, Finn's older brother, he knows all about Everly and he's about to turn the tables because he wants her and will stop at nothing to get what he wants. Can this be their happily ever after, or are they doomed to fail?
Jana Aston has a wicked sense of humour. I laughed out loud multiple times. She's hilarious. I may have shed a tear too, she has a great balance of funny and emotional in her books. I'm a lover of banter and this book has it in abundance. I love how Jana writes her books and hooks the reader, and even changes their mind about a character. It was fun to see a couple of moments from Wrong from Everly's perspective and to be introduced to some characters. The side story of Sandra and Gabe was sweet, and I was super excited to learn that Fling was their story, so once I finished Right I dived right into Fling. I love the cover, I think the bright background is eye-catching and having a suited guy on the cover doesn't hurt either. I think it's great that the narrator is named on the audiobook cover.
I have to be honest, I didn't like Everly to begin with. I thought she was delusional and quite frankly a stalker that Finn should have called the police about. However, she grew on me, the more we saw her with Sawyer, the more I liked her. By the end of the book I was loving her and wondering how I could get a friend like her, yes, I'm a mess. She was entertaining and always had a plan, she was determined and wanted the best for people, even people she'd only just met. How can you not love someone like that? I think it was an aspect to her personality that I was overlooking but when I thought about it, I kinda just nodded my head and said, ‘oh yeah' – full credit to Jana for creating such a complex character.
I really liked Sawyer, even though I wasn't sure how things were going to go, whether he was going to be mean and play with Everly, as a means of payback or whether he was serious, but once I realised he was just a nice guy, I was all in! I thought he was funny and charming. I liked that he was a happy guy and even when things got tough, he left that at the door (so to speak) when he was with Everly. It was very endearing. I loved that he wanted to woo her. Then when the twist happens, swoon. I think he melted my heart.
So, I thought their relationship was a little weird, but in a good way, the way they started out which was unconventional, to say the least, but soon progressed into something enjoyable. I liked the inside jokes they shared it lightened the experience. The twist was very well done, and I enjoyed that aspect to it. I don't want to say too much because you really need to experience it for yourself. It was super cute. Also, the fish, oh my word, the cutest. The sex scenes were on fire, I loved how they fitted with the story. What was really nice with this book is that although we get a tiny bit of conflict, it's over pretty quick and for all Everly's actions in the past she doesn't blow up with drama. Which was great character progression and I think that is when she fully won me over, how she reacted and how she was with the changes, it was beautiful.
Erin Mallon needs to narrate everything. My text messages, my emails, calls from my husband... all of it! Her male voice is perfection! You don't need two narrators when Erin is working, she's that good. Total narrator crush... if you can't tell. She was amazing as always and brought these characters to life. Her narration of Jack was the sweetest thing. I loved how she conveyed the
