Rough Rhythm

This one was OK. It had some angst, some hot sexy times.



I found the whole “rough” sex thing James had going on a little weird. If it had been tempered with some sex scenes that were more on the tender side I think it would have worked better for me. They always seemed to be throwing each other around, or she was hitting him, or acting out a forced scenario. Which is hot as hell, but when that is ALL your getting it takes away from the “loving” aspect of the story.

I also wasn't thrilled that Lita did most of the chasing in this one. I prefer my hero to do the chasing. For some reason it comes across as pathetic to me when it's the heroine running after the poor damaged hero. At least she finally gave him the heave-ho near the end. To bad it took him like a month to come back groveling...sigh.



Overall it was just OK. I am looking forward to book three in this series though.
