Started this one last night, and could not put it down. I love stuff about Native American legends! The real star of the book is Maggie Mae's voice. I just loved her. She was so strong, confident, and could really handle herself! She actually tells the love interest at one point, I save myself, I don't need you to save me. (Not a verbatim quote).
There is plenty of action, a nice friendship, and great storyline. I am not a huge fan of shape shifter fiction, but this one was really good.
Why, oh, why did they change the cover? The cover for the arc was perfect and eye-catching, and the snake cover makes no sense!
Warning: I craved Mexican food through the entire reading....
