Somehow exactly what I was looking for, which'll get top marks from me every time. Def planning on reading more Nordic noir.
I read the last book of the series first, and phew - thankfully, there is no significant back story to get in the way. Super scene-setting, a dogged and likeable policeman and dark secrets.
