Skeleton Song

It showed the story of how Christopher got to the Home in a nice short and sweet way. I loved that the skeletons were once human but forgot after too many generations. Although I do feel the short stories often lack some of the flourishes that the novellas have. As if written by a different all-knowing narrator than the main series. 

Beautiful and bittersweet, as this series so often is. Loved having an interlude showing Christopher and his Skeleton Girl, the circumstances leading him to that world and how he ended up walking back through a Door. 
Based on the characters involved, I'm not keen to pick up the other short story interstitials in this series written so far, but I was happy to see this character in particular get a little more of the spotlight.
