A powerful book, even better on a re-read. A lot of detail that I hadn't noticed on the first read stood out this time. World War 2 (or “Big Two” as I call it) was a very serious business and we live with the scars still. This book focuses on a (relatively) small but poignant portion of that titanic struggle.
I went with the hardback version (instead of the ebook) for this re-read because I wanted quality photos and illustrations. (Paper is good folks.)
