2.5 rounded up because nothing was wrong with it just not my favorite kind of romance. The suspense plot was too in the background and the hero didn't have enough of a personality. I'm going to try book 2 and if it's not for me try a different series or something! But from the authors other series I know books within a series can be very hit or miss for me!

This was a cute insta love small town romance.

Lucy or Jade as she goes by, is a famous singer looking to escape her Nashville life for a small town. She is in hiding, and goes by her alias name.

Duke is the sherif in town, and she immediately catches his eye.

The two have insta spark and love. There is some drama of course, with stalkers and such, but entertaining none the less.

Not my favourite, but enjoyable still. Had the good Devney Perry easy reading vibes
