The never-ending game of “oh my god THIS is the book I've remembered for years!” Can't believe I actually found it. It's a good variant of a post apocalyptic novel, and apparently there's a sequel, which I had no idea.
I found this to be a pretty compelling read. The writing was just so-so, but the plot was very exciting. I loved hearing all about the compound and the things they had there and I started thinking about what I would want in my own compound if I had to live there for 15 years. This book is also pretty disturbing and twists your mind a little bit because the author says just enough and then lets you figure out the rest. She introduces things slowly so that you begin to wonder about them and the tension builds.Recommended for people who like stressful, high tension stories, sort of in the vein of [b:The Maze Runner 6186357 The Maze Runner (Maze Runner, #1) James Dashner http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1320500235s/6186357.jpg 6366642].
