A Lincoln Child book fills the hollow left by the X-Files - this book about Egyptian curses, NDAs and a remote scientific expedition in a deadly swamp is just what I needed
Well-written thriller featuring Egyptology, cutting-edge science and paranormal stuff. I really don't like paranormal stuff.
Lee Child can move a plot. Because I'm not a fan of the fantasy genre I skim read this one.
Who doesn't like a good story about the search for an ancient Egyptian tomb with a curse attached? Lincoln Child and Douglas Preston are authors of one of my favorites series of books—the Pendergast novels. I'm glad to see Child continue their sense of adventure on his own. I enjoyed reading The Third Gate as much as reading Preston's' The Codex.
