Very sweet, unsubstantial M/M romance with absolutely no angst. The MCs meet, they flirt, they date, they have sex, and they confess their love to each other over the course of several weeks. The only thing that kept the book from floating away completely was Leo's relationship with the elderly, cantankerous Clyde and the reminder that queer senior citizens had a very different experience than the current generation.
If you need a bit of enjoyable fluff to get you through a rough day, Throwing Hearts will fit the bill neatly. But Walker has written better, more meaningful books.
