First of all, the art is adorable and I could look at tons more illustrations of magical sea creatures! The story itself is also so sweet: one of conquering or living with your inner doubts and learning from mistakes.
I hope the 15 years old girl to which I'm gifting it will like it! English isn't her first language so I wanted something a bit below her age so that she could undestand it, but not too childish. It's still a bit childish but the story is so beautiful and heartwarming (as are the drawings) that we can easily see past the childishness. :)
