Enjoyable, but even with the audiobook I missed a bit of the action here and there. Some action scenes could've had more elaboration to really suck the reader into the book, instead they flew by.
Minder leuk dan dat iknhad verwacht. Was kn het begin erg verwarrend, maar werd uiteindelijk wel een goed verhaal. Kwam er wel moeilijk doorheen, omdat het soms het soms echt van hot naar her ging...
Synopsis: Twins Wren & Rose were separated at birth. Wren was raised by her grandmother in the camp of the witch's resistance, aware of her sister and prepared to one day take back the throne for her people. Rose was raised as a princess under the close guardianship of the King's Breath, unaware of her twin and sure of her future as monarch. Now the twins are about to come of age and both are determined to claim the throne and their birthright.
My Thoughts:
DNF @ 35%
I don't mind some YA occasionally but I do struggle when the tone is quite young, and this one just read too juvenile for me. I also didn't enjoy Rose's chapters which is unfortunate as half the book is about her.
