I was surprised by this book, liking it more than I thought I would!
I wasn't sure if I was going to read this, but there was a preview of it in the first book and as I kinda skipped through it I was immediately caught by the concept and went “Oh, I gotta read this”
Internet dating, but a surprise visit turns into one of the most embarrassing days of Alex's life. –this hooked me.
The sickness part was okay, but I understand why it is included.
The funny bickering and witty banter continues on with this book! Had me smiling and rooting for the characters.
The sadness adds depth and didn't seem too fake or improbable. Not likely? Yeah, but I'll give it a pass because fiction.
This was a fun read. I'm not sure if I'll read the next book... maybe if I'm in a romance mood again, but I'm not waiting on bated breath.
