I loved this series. Fantastic pairing of artist with writer.

I think the most effective parts of this story are the times it comes closest to capturing the feeling of losing connection with childhood friends. It???s not particularly scary or tense and I was never really surprised by where it goes.

I loved every page of this book.

Loses momentum when it goes back in time to retell events from another perspective but other than that, very damn good.

Not a fan of the ‘script' pages with full text. Otherwise, this continues to be very good.

The artwork is gorgeous but Gillen???s words never flow for me.

Can you really call yourself a friend if you don't journey into the furthers depths of Muspelheim to retrieve the blade of the demon fire god, Surtur?

Horror done really well. Contains some unforgettable images.

I love the concept of this series but I found the writing style(s) to be too discordant. You'll have occasional moments where story beats just flow but they are rare, at least in this first volume. That being said, Christian Ward's psychedelic illustrations are compelling enough to keep me going.

What to say about this incredible book. Madeline Miller brings so much life into each character, from the titans to the mortals. An incredibly moving tale of a black sheep???s journey to ???know oneself???.

A perfect balance of humor and violence. Fun as hell.

There???s a lot of potential here, with the story narrowing at the end of the first volume. I love the color palette used, but the compositions need more balance to focus on the protagonist.

Emily Carroll's illustrations feel alive and intimidating in a way that perfectly suits her strange and beautiful stories.

Takes on an eerie prescience with regards to recent events...

War does not make one great.

A little too close to Perry Bible Fellowship...

Pretty good. Could have gone a little deeper with the references....
