This book was an interesting deep dive into the making of Bruce Springsteen's iconic Nebraska album. Goes well with the new film. Give much more depth than the movie. Did not care for the interview style at various points, but it was definitely tolerable. Zane is knowledgeable and passionate. Would read additional books about Springsteen and books by the same author.

I don't know if it was meant to be a mystery, but I didn't know until the end of the book that he was the lead singer of the Del Fuegos. Also, although I was a little bit by the back-and-forth "Springsteen" followed by "author" because he didn't know the interview was going to happen until late in the book. Again a great companion for the film.
