I would have preferred more information about the previous five extinctions and less talk about her travelings and things that happened with her.

I skimmed most of this book, it's very simplistic introduction to complexity science. I was hoping for a more in depth look at the topic, rather than just talking briefly about the areas that this theory influences without delving much into them.

But i didn't rate it less because i think it's a good book for someone who is looking to get a general information about the theory.

Also there is so much “in other words” on every page and when talking about every idea, it really got under my skin !!!

Although I learned some new and interesting informations, but the book could easily be squeezed to less than 50 pages by removing all the useless talk. In general I think it's a waste of time!
