3.75 stars. there is another book in the series ! somehow I missed it and read the series out of order. The books stand alone pretty well. I would love a Judith book.

DNF at 55% I'm just not buying into a romance with a centuries old plague upon the earth and a 20 something year old. He's directly responsible for the death of millions, if not billions of people, in an utterly painful and merciless way. That is not God's work, it's the Devil's, and no amount of groveling is going to forgive that in my eyes.

Listened to the Graphic audio edition. By this point in my life I have read and listened to thos book numerous times. the Graphic Audio edition is a fun listen. I will listen to the entire series if they release it. One thing that I didn't like is Amelia's views on the native populations of both Rome and Egypt - just ugh
