Offensive misrepresentation.

This story had potential to be so much more fun, but the ridiculously cliché MC ruined it for me. It's like he was written by someone who has never interacted with a member of the LGBTQ community but tried to learn about us by watching old sitcoms written by homophobic straight men.

Everything about the character was a tired stereotype, and I found it really off-putting and more than a little offensive at times. A grown man swooning and fanning himself because he finds something sexy? Giggling like a schoolgirl? Word vomit and talking like a teenager from some 90's high school movie?

“OMG!” “Gawd!”

Do better.

The characters were 2 dimensional, the ending was predictable, and the writing was peppered with errors, contradictions and clichés.

1 star because I managed to power through... though if it had been much more than it's 150 pages it would have been a 1 star DNF.
