Emily Henry just knows how to write a good romance story. Happy place broke my heart and Funny story put it back together

I was really excited for this book only for it to be mid.

The beginning was really strong i really thought it was going to be a 4 or 5 star read but then we got to the middle and it started getting boring and was dragging, but then i thought the mystery would make up for it only for that to be so lackluster. And i don't think this needed to be so long or at least make it fast paced. and maybe it's just me but i think Sade could have been more of a bad bitch i just fell like she was missing something

this was a highly anticipated read and I was so disappointed, firstly this book is very character driven and it wouldn't have been so bad if the writing was good because why do we have vampires x peaky blinders and there's no vampires and no murders/blood and the heist in the beginning was interesting but after a while i was bored and the plot wasn't moving. And maybe it's just me but i don't think that we needed Flicks POV she didn't bring anything, so All and All this was very disappointing

Okay where do we begin? First off the 2 stars are not because of the messiness that this book is, it's because i feel like this book try's to be something it's not which is a romance book!!
This is not a romance book idk why it's marketed that way but it's not, this book is a book that u read when you want to read mess. It is not deep And let's just be frfr Feyi didn't even like Nasir from the beginning.

For some reason the second book was such a letdown
