In this volume, everything is focused on the implementation of Katniss's plan to kill President Snow. For this purpose, she slowly walks to the Capitol with her friends (who volunteered) to do this. Along the way, they encounter a number of unpleasant surprises, such as a mined Capitol city streets. Several people die, so at the end Katniss decides to go alone with her friend Gale. In the end she kills President Alma Coin, who turns out to be worse than Snow. Overall, there are a lot of new details, Gale's betrayal, a new president, and an adventure with adrenaline. Finnick dies, which I'm not happy about. Peeta hates Katniss. Katniss's sister dies, whom I wanted to protect - Unfortunately...
Katniss gets some cool arrows and a bow, which is great. You can see the unity of the book characters in the fight for freedom. I like the book and everyone should read it. I also recommend the movie, which is awesome. I will always be a fan of the movie, or rather all parts.
A book from my childhood. A beautiful story about the fight between good and evil, where good always wins. Beautiful book. I read it when I was a little girl. I was enchanted by this magical land. I imagined that the land of Narnia was in my grandmother's closet. I never moved there, but the dreams remained. I like all the book characters. The book expanded my imagination and the world of dreams. The land of Narnia makes you want to be there, and stay there forever. I recommend the book not only to children.
Insurgent is the sequel to Divergent. Tris escapes with her boyfriend, brother and the sellout Peter to the village of Amity. She cuts her hair experiencing the death of her parents and a friend. They stop there for a while, but Eric - from the Dauntless - starts chasing them. Soon he appears in the village to capture all four of them. Peter tells Eric where our heroes are. Tris, Four and Caleb escape to the forest, and to the train, to return to the city where are the Factionless. A fight breaks out between them. Tris, enraged by her mother's death, rushes into it, but the three lose to a group of Factionless ones. Four says his name, and it turns out that he is the person the Factionless were looking for. This brings them to Four's mother, and after an argument with her, Four goes to the bedroom with Tris. There is a mysterious box in Tris house that only 100% Divergent can open. For this purpose, 100% Divergents are catches, others are killed. It is Tris, which Erudite does not know. I won't tell the whole story. Let everyone read it for themselves. It is an interesting story and You should read it.
I am a big fan of the trilogy and cinematic films. These books are fantastic. But also cinematic versions. I love them. My favorite character is Four. For being true to his principles and values. When he loves, he loves truly and only one person. He loves Tris and is completely devoted to her.
Mrs. Veronica Roth is a great writer. I recommend her books.
Thank you for writing the Divergent series and Four. Which changed my life.
Best Wishes to everyone.
This is my favorite part of the trilogy. There are new characters, but also more adrenaline. Katniss is more mature, friendship between the Book characters develope and They unites with new power. From this book I like Johanna Mason and Finnick Odair. And of course Katniss. These games are different from the previous ones. They are tasked with eliminating all winners for fear of their attack on government tyranny. Many of them die, but the rest escape death to unite in the next volume to kill President Snow. Katniss decided to do this to end her suffering and that of other people. She is also traumatized by the death of her friend Rue and the shooting of a boy from a wealthy district - Marvel, who she remembers in the second volume. Katniss is traumatized by all the games she has participated in. At the end of the book, Katniss's arrow, electrocuted by lightning, destroys the dome of the hunger games arena. What I also like is the modern Capitol. I like futuristic places with advanced technology. I recommend the book and, of course, the movie. All parts are worth attention. I can write about Hunger Games books all day and night, but I'm afraid there won't be enough space, so I limit myself. I reached for the book after watching the movie. I didn't look at the reviews. For me, just reading the description is enough to know whether I want to read it or not. I think it's worth reading. Best Wishes for Everyone :)
Nice book. I like the colorful Capitol. Also the book characters fighting for freedom, and their unity in the fight for it, and friendship. Katniss wants to survive the hunger games at all costs, and she does everything to make it happen. I was touched by the moment when there was nothing to eat in District 12, and Katniss and her Family had to eat flower salad. Here my eyes filled with tears. I m a fan of the movies, and personally I prefer the movies. But each who wants to watch the movie, should read the Book. I watching movies once a month as a fan. Its cool
