Bee

Blew me away. Started it 4 days ago and couldn't get the earbuds out of my ears. Brilliant concept. What if we could print a drug that made you belive in God, and not the vague fuzzy feeling of convincing yourself of a comforting lie, but see and feel your own personal deity who loves you and guides you. The story is told from the perspective of a Neuroscientist and fervent atheist. She knows there's no God, and that it's all just excitement of her pre-frontal cortext, but she cannot unsee her angel.

The book has wonderful characters,with a myriad of deep psychological damage. It reads like William Gibson, but much more likeable. Some thought provoking twists and turns.

I highly recommend this book. Reminded me slightly of the movie Limitless, with overtures of Johnny Mnemonic
