I thoroughly enjoyed this book, but it's not 4 elements. It's bbq, soup, bread, cheese with a dash of pickling. I feel as if so much more could have been put into the 4 elements. It was educational and there was a lot of the topics I enjoyed, but it didn't wow me.

The way I screamed “I finally finished it” when I was done...this book is fine. There are some really great small storylines I enjoyed. It definitely could have been 150 pages shorter. 3.5 and rounded up.

3.5/5 -This is a collection of ghost stories which I found beautifully written. This reads like a collection of short essays. However it couldn't always keep my attention.

I am huge fan of station eleven and this is another great sci fi novel. She does a wonderful job intertwining stories and capturing humanity through major historic events through time. I would recommend if you want something with multiple plots with an array of characters all coming together.

I laughed, I cried, I couldn't put it down. This set of essays is beautifully written. I'm pretty sure this is now one of my favorite collections of essays.
