Well worth the long wait over this next installment.

For some reason I had a problem getting into this book. But, I wasn't expecting how he end it.

Don't waste your time on this. Most of it is filled with rehashes of other books and stupid attempts at comedy. WEB Griffin needs to stop churning out books twice a year and concentrate on good stories instead. Serialized books are fine, but don't waste my time with something you obliviously knew was junk!

I'm sad that Flynn past away last year and this is the last novel well get from him.

I enjoyed his take on the noir genera.

I was a little disappointed in this book. I was hoping for a more satisfying ending.

Not a bad read. Although I had it figured out by the middle of the book what was going on and who was responsible.

I found it good that he brought the story full circle with Will being the Mentor to a new apprentice. It was a good way to end this series.

While I enjoyed this book, I felt unsatisfied by the ending. It was just left dangling unfinished.

While I enjoyed this, I didn't find it as satisfying as the ealier books.

This is more a conditional rating. I really found this story very disconjointed, but found the ending satisfying.

I'm beginning to think that Griffin has passed his peak. His last two books have sucked. Very disappointing.

Ok, now the story has more of a life of it's own. And doesn't feel so much of a ripeoff of Dresden Files.

This really is almost an exact copy of Jim Butcher's Dresden Files. Or as close as Richard Kadrey could legally make it.

This story feels more of a bridging book. It ended right when it was getting interesting.

I really warmed to this story by the end. While it's a bit conventional, it's worth a look while we wait on the next book in “A Song of Fire & Ice”

It was interesting idea, but I felt the story was too one dimensional for my liking. I'll have to give it some thought to see if I want to continue with this series.

In a number of ways these stories remind me of the Harry Desden books. While not totally the same style the way the authors' hand dialog is. Well worth taking a look at.

I enjoyed this serie's story arc. The ending brought is aspects of the other books that I was not expecting. I'd recommend this series to anyone who enjoys Alternative History stories.

I've been thinking about this books ending and I have to give it to Ian Tregillis for not going for the easy out. I was expecting a different ending entirely. But, by going for a messy ending I thought he made the story more compelling. I'm sorry to see these characters and story end.

It started off strong, but it just sort of fell apart towards the end.

Well, at least I don't have to wait long of the next book in the Milkweed Triptych. I've really enjoyed these so far.

Their were aspects of this story that I truly enjoyed, like the historical vignettes and the subtle fantasy aspects of the story. Over all I would recommend this story. I am interested to see in what direction Bein takes this series.
