Gutes Buch, aber Sabine ist so negativ, I can't

Why were they so angry all of the time?

Such a great book without miscommunication & both are so sweet

Der slow burn ist wirklich der beste bisher, ich fieberte richtig mit und das setting in Jericho gefiel mir sehr gut. Auch die ganzen Nebencharaktere wirken echt und wecken Interesse an deren Geschichte.
Mir persönlich ging dann aber auf den letzten 150 Seiten einfach zu viel ab. Ja, U-Haul ist nicht nur ein Klischee, aber was hier abgeht kam mir doch zu viel zu schnell vor.

2 Sterne für die Prämisse, die ich aber erst googeln musste, weil ich goarnix verstanden habe, während ich das Buch gelesen habe

Super spannender, erster Fall!

Wieder eine sehr interessante Geschichte mit ausgeklügeltem Ende, allerdings fand ich diese Geschichte etwas weniger spannend als andere von Poirot.

Hercule Poirot is always such a comfort read, especially due to Christies superb writing style. I always find my mind wandering to London or another (mostly british) town when reading one of her novels.

Christie manages to create this british, crime infested universe in my mind everytime I read a Poirot book and I adore her for it.

Loved this book, might even be on the same level as the first one!
I found the quest really intriguing as well as the final fight. The plot twists in this book were really obvious imo, especially in comparison to the first one. And there was a little to much romance and miscommunication involved, but nonetheless a really good book!

Das Buch hat mich echt komplett überrascht & ich kann es nur jedem empfehlen, da es meiner Meinung nach den Struggle, den man als queerer, junger Mensch hat, sehr facettenreich und realitätsnah darstellt. Ich habe mich teilweise wirklich gefühlt, als hätte ich eine Zeitreise in meinen 15 jährigen Kopf gemacht. Sehr emotionales, aber glechzeitig auch sehr schönes Buch!

Man merkt natürlich, dass die Hauptcharaktere 16 sind und sich die Zielgruppe auch eher in dieser Alterklasse befindet. Das war für mich allerdings vollkommen in Ordnung und sogar mal eine schöne Abwechslung!

Das Buch hat wirklich eine einzigartige und mitreisende Geschichte!
Mir hat der Schreibstil auch sehr gut gefallen, ich kann aber auch verstehen, wenn mans nicht mag.
Mein einziger Minuspunkt ist, dass Andy Weir teilweise bei den technischen Vorgängen zu sehr ins Detail gegangen ist.

The first 80% of the book: how can a book be chill and intriguing at the same time?
The last 20%: plot twist after plot twist, every other page my mind was blown

glad I skipped almost every other page, after reading this and a summary, I apparently didn't miss much.
One important thing happens in 1000 pages, I do not know how I will survive the next few books

This is a story of rage, pain, loss and suffering. And it is incredible!
The characters are so fleshed out and real, it feels like I have known them my whole life.
The story is about censorship, war and politics but the book used this only as a way for their characters to wake up and find their own calling.
100% recommend, a book I will think about a lot

Ich liebe Percy Jackson & Mythologie, aber irgendwie bjn ich mit den Charakteren in diesem Buch nicht warm geworden. Sehr schade, nichtsdestotrotz werde ich sen nächsten Teil lesen :)

My first Agatha Christie book but definitely not my last!
