This author's writing just isn't for me. I didn't enjoy the first book but figured I would give the second one a try. I cannot pinpoint exactly why this doesn't work for me. I found myself bored more than entertained. I'm glad so many others have enjoyed this series so far. If you have this on your TBR, give it a read and see how you like it.
