When I ready the premise, it sounded good, so I had high hopes going into this one. Sadly, it ended up being an average read for me. The atmosphere was ok, and there were moments that hinted at a possible engaging mystery, but the pacing was much slower than I expected.
I found it difficult to stay invested for much of the story. While the writing itself was solid, the plot took a long time to build, and there weren't enough twists or suspenseful moments along the way. I guess I expected to much with this one.
