First off, I can't believe this is her debut novel. Insane. Honestly I loved everything about this. The plot is so great. Felt like a true fantasy adventure. Rune is dark and compelling and Draven is dynamic and vulnerable. The first half of the book I was raging with Rune and really getting into the mystery of things, the second half I was giggling and kicking my feet at her and Draven getting close. I thought the idea of reading Tarot cards would have been a plot point considering the obvious nature of the story but I was so pleased with how the tarot idea came into play. I really enjoyed how Rune had romantic backstory but it didn't really influence the story at all. I need the second book IMMEDIATELY like i can't believe im going to have to wait for God know's how long. Overall 5/5 stars. 2/5 spice BUT zero complaints about that, it was the perfect amount of spice for what is happening in the story and where they are in their relationship. Highly highly recommend.

Very educational for my partner and an easy read.

A wild ride of emotions and you never really know where its going, definitely worth the read and totally have to read the next book. I was expecting this to be a peasant x king kinda romance but it was interesting that it wasn't because i couldn't really tell where it was going. 3.75/5

Okay originally I was not super impressed with the first book but the second? totally worth it. Very compelling story. I was disappointed in the ending, I would have liked it if he was able to pass the death ability down to one of their kids and get to die with her but I can understand why that wasn't the vibe. Overall, good writing. Great plot. Definity worth the read.

Honestly really great. Creepy without being gross. Hot couple. A good horror romance. I loved the open to interpretation circumstances of her voices.

Rachel is so great. The concept of this book is so unique to me, I would have liked more from her and Rory in the breaking the ice/ tension department but overall 4.85⭐️ great read, excited for the next.

Very good. Good world building. A little slow which was my problem. Overall 3.90, 4/5 spice. Definitely considering reading the next book.

Weird but not near as freaky as i thought.

Was definitely good, but I was a little disappointed in how human everyone is, not a lot of wolf traits present. open to reading the two book but i dont like a love triangle and that's definitely the vibe its giving.

Great alien series, super easy to read and each story is very gripping

DNF at 75%, not for me I didn't need to finish it.

Great series highly recommend

Great. So great. Dark and gothic. I'm not often impressed with FMC but Elispeth is a great character. She's interesting and fucked-up. Her and Ravyn are great together. An awesome world to get lost in. Would love to know more about Elm and Lone. 5 Stars. 1.5 spicy.

not good but definitely fun lol

3.75 stars. 4 chilis. Interested in more of this universe, will read the next installment.

I guess I could read the next one but I definitely don't need to

Hot. Love the letters. Love the degradation. Looking forward to reading the next book.

4.5 stars great. Super strong opening. Love Ali Hazelwood's writing. 3 chilis on the spice scale. Love a grumpy x sunshine vibe. Wasn't blown away by the antagonist plot line but a really good read. Very good series so far, highly recommended.

Cute nice and easy read

Love the writing. Zevander is hot and freaky, love that. Maevyth is weird and goth. Also great. I didn't realize it was a series. Loved the horror aspects. Slow start, strong finish.

Was a good idea, didn't feel well executed. Hard to follow and no interest in reading the rest of the series.

I was enjoying it a lot in the beginning especially when I felt like there was some unknown elements and some internal debate on whether or not Julian was actually going to kill himself. Good smut but a tad overkill. The last 25% was tough to get through because it was clear the story was heading in a calm and easy direction. Not bad, just not cohesive with the beginning plot of the story.

Really loved it. I was expecting PWP but it was way more emotional charged than smutty. Which was a welcome surprise. Loved the turmoil and realness of the characters and their struggles. So far my favorite Brianna Hale book.
