A very good coming of age story with a little murder mystery thrown in set in Alabama in the 1960's. 

It will make you cry but such a good book!

Beautifully written! Gives you a slice of small town Ireland which I loved having visited a couple of times. Would have given it 5 stars but it's too short IMO. It just ends and your left thinking, what happens next??? Still it's a very good book.

A really good fantasy adventure story. Engaging characters and plot. Going to read the next in the series. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that it borrows heavily from other great fantasy series most notably LOTR. Still it's a great book!
