I thought this was a beautifully written book. Reading this book is like meeting with a friend you haven't seen in a long time and catching up on stories.

Definitely would recommend to someone interested in murder mysteries. It was a good book and I enjoyed the writing style.

It took a while to get into this but eventually I did when it finally started getting into actually solving the mystery. I did like how the author gave us a glimpse into several characters' minds and I think she's a good writer but in the end I would just say the book is ok.

There was a side theme that the outcome I did not see coming. As with the first two, i really enjoyed reading through this book. Found it a fast read and kept you guessing. I think the characters are relatable and she puts together the story arc well. Over all, I still continue to recommend her. Looking forward to reading more Gamache stories.

This book is fine. Reading it created no strong feelings in me, the story was good though one part was a bit too jarring, not in visuals, but in feeling that something happened too suddenly that I thought I had missed something. My reaction to it is that I wouldn't necessarily recommend it but I wouldn't tell someone not to read it.
