Annie's Baby: The Diary of Anonymous, a Pregnant Teenager

I don't know what Sparks was thinking when she wrote this. I'd call her Dr. Sparks but nobody anywhere can find any proof of her ever obtaining a PhD. This book is really unrealistic. You can tell it's written by an adult who has zero idea how teens actually act and think. The diary entries range from very juvenile and childish vocabulary to using words like “ethereal.”

Overall the ending is trash. I don't expect anything different from an author who was a Mormon counselor. It doesn't surprise me that she wrote a book not even considering abortion. The whole book reads like a shame guide for a very unfortunate, yet unrealistic, 14 year old girl who falls for the bamboozles of a 16 year old sociopath.

The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up

I absolutely loved this book. I listened to the audio book as I emptied out my house with my mother. I have cleaned out 32 trash bags from my room full of stuff that does not spark joy. I'm not sure why so many people disliked the book. I honestly loved it and it taught me how to fold clothes properly so I could see everything that I own at a glance. I think it's very cute that she greets and thanks her items. Although I personally wouldn't do it.. I do still think it's important to acknowledge how lucky you are to have these things in your life.
